Since 1892, the senior partners have been Peter Waddell, Ian Mackintosh, Thomas Brown, John Muir Mason; now our managing director is Rognvald Mason.

John Muir Mason MBE was Waddell & Mackintosh’s senior partner until his passing in 2011. He was also a musician, composer and founder of the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra in 1980. His collection of over 600 self-composed pieces of Scottish traditional music can be found at thejohnmmasoncollection.co.uk
